Football and money

Man Utd have a substantially higher income to start with. It looks like Arsenal and us are losing the biggest shares among the top clubs, with City and Chelsea doing relatively well.

Ignoring the in/out or the politics of the Brexit argument.
Seeing comments apparently made by Sam Allardyce about not being able to get some players as they wouldn’t get a work permit. I wonder if this could increase the signings made by premier league clubs from the EFL. Therefore helping more of a trickle down affect of premier league money into English football by transfer fees.

Obviously this could be detrimental in the long run if the ‘product’ of the premier league isn’t as good as it once was.

But would be interesting to see if this does increase EFL to Premier League transfers.

wow, who saw that coming?

A lot of barking happens whenever the subject of American ownership is brought up. They've been mostly very good custodians of their English clubs. A shame Liverpool's previous owners gave up so soon.

Interestingly, nine of the past 10 NFL Super Bowl participants have soccer connections. This upcoming one will feature ManU's owners - Tampa - against the owners of MLS's FC Dallas - KC. Be good to see Spurs get fully involved with an American football team. Helped to broaden administrative minds and open up marketing opportunities for both sides.
