Maybe on old gen consoles or a lower spec'd pc/gpu.

I've been playing for a few hours now and quite happy murdering people that deserve it in Night City. Graphically it looks amazing, I've not really started the main quest yet so maybe there are issues with some of the questlines? In the main I see folk complaining for graphical issues or bad fps, a few quest related ones.

It'll get patched for sure but personally I don't think it is as bad as it is being made out to be.

I hear character customisation and story choices are far more limited than first promised too?

More action game than proper RPG.

Can't comment on the story, I'm far too distracted running around earning money by offing the bad folk :D

I suppose the RPG element is kinda lost at the moment due to above, but while there is a lot of shooting I'm not feeling it is taking over as such - I could think of being Geralt and lopping off heads with my sword in the same way I'm playing at moment. Exploring the city is amazing, need to get an RTX card to appreciate it fully thou :(

The perk system needs a fix thou, my revolver is now a one-shot kill destroyer for most lol and it isn't even sped'd that high

Character creation did seem a little limited for some of the presets but there are some damn good creations out there for those who had waaaaay too much time creating :)

sounds like they're offering refunds rather than patching which is very worrying...

Just seen that too, but looks like mainly for consoles where their offering it.
Not a surprise really with the old ones, there was no way the hardware would cope with what is being thrown at it.

CDPR shouldn't have published to them, should have taken a leaf from Capcom and not bothered for last gen consoles.

Looks like patches will be during January and February for those who want to wait and put up with how it is performing, bit of a long wait imo but then again thesedays with launches they mainly seem to be needing patching out of the box.

It's a shame cos CDPR usually is on the ball with things, this one looks to have gotten away from them for the time being.
On PC I've gotta say it's fine for me, it's just how Crysis was back in the day - a demanding game.

Horses for courses n all that..

I'm around 50 hours in now and haven't really touched the main questline, just rescued Evelyn, as I'm finding it so much fun to explore and murder the gang members.
Some of the side quests are a bit poor and generally just a way to extend the game, but there aren't many rpg's that don't do that.

Though I will give you that they haven't included everything they set out to do, but still, for me it's enjoyable.

Been playing these games for the past week.

MO Astray - brilliantly difficult and original 2d platformer with some of the best boss fights and clever mechanics I've seen in a game. Highly recommended.

Wildfire - quite good 2D stealth game. You need to stay hidden from enemies and manipulate the environment and the elements to get from point A to B. Very enjoyable.

Creaks - did not enjoy this at all. Ladder climber simulator for the first half hour. Also felt very claustrophobic. A pity, as I absolutely loved Samorost and Machinarium.

Sony has pulled Cyberpunk 2077, one of the year's most-anticipated games, from its store and offered refunds to all players.

The unprecedented move follows complaints that the game has been riddled with bugs and glitches, and is prone to crashes.

Microsoft later said it would also refund any dissatisfied Xbox players.

Developer CD Projekt Red has promised to issue patches to improve the game for those who do not return it.

It’s unclear when Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) plans to return the game to the PlayStation Store.

am back on COD Warfare if anyone bored or fancies a Warzone run. I'm getting annoyed at being chucked with randoms who bail out when you die.

My 12-year-old is absolutely wicked at fortnight. I watch him play on occasion and as an aging gamer, I know real talent when I see it. Now how can I monetise him?

What does he play on? PS5 cna livestream to Twitch or YouTube.

Otherwise you may need another PC to capture the gaming (and preferably talking to the camera for the big follower numbers).

Once he had a certain number of followers you can enrol in the YouTube monetisation program. Get even more and he'll get his kit free for mentioning in a clip, more still and they'll pay him to mention stuff.

He's on an XboxOne but has his eye on PS5. I'm gonna file this for later, though he is still a bit young for talking bollox while playing.

My son watches these kids all the time.

Half of them have supercar collections by the time they're 20
