Racism in football

Millwall seemingly got their house in order pretty quickly, fair play to them.

I wonder which club they borrowed fans from for the QPR game?
Wasn’t the reason they didn’t boo because the QPR and Millwall players agreed not to kneel before the game? Instead, agreeing to link arms against racism rather than the kneeling symbol linked to BLM that the fans were booing in the first game?

or did I imagine reading that? Quite possible!

I thought some players still kneeled anyway?

I’m not sure, I read about that before the game, but haven’t looked up what actually happened yet.

If there was no kneeling, it's potentially an interesting mind exercise to explain the wildly different reactions to kneeling for equality and linking arms for equality.

They were saying they were booing the BLM movement which the kneeling symbolised, not anti racism itself. Linking arms wasn’t a symbol for BLM so they agreed not to boo it.

i can’t remember where I read this, will try and dig it out.

I'm sure you are right, but they are wrong, the kneeling predates BLM by a long time.

Just an excuse for a bunch of racists.

Since the players started taking the knee it's got 10 times worse
Surely the Social Media sites could do more to stop this
