Joe Hart

Yup, Hart maybe good character to have in dressing room but reminds me of Robbo the way he flaps at long shots

Lloris will definitely be playing the knockout games.

The comparison with Robbo is fair. For both of them they just look too flat / leaden footed to cover the goal from distance. There’s a reason Hart hasn’t been kept on at Burnley West Ham and Torino and tonight is going to mean his next appearance is going to be very unsettling. Makes me appreciate Lloris return to form even more.

There was a time when Robinson was genuinely good though. Hart has always had these games.

Oh I loved Robbo, his downturn coincided with that back pass from G Nev for England imo.

I don’t remember Hart being gash for City but there as nothing post him me leaving there that made me want him for us, initially I thought he was replacing Vorm.

He was
But Gazzaniga I believe wants to leave for first team football which would be sensible at his age

He made some good saves tonight but also a couple howlers. We needed a long-term back up for Lloris anyway, so I'm not sure this changes anything long-term - just cant really play hart this season in matches

Hart was our best player first half too
Shows how these games can change
Scary how he is so suspect at shots form distance. He rarely saves any of them

Like being released by the previous 4 clubs he has played for and a susceptibility to saving long shots?
Gazzaniga wasn’t released from 4 clubs was he?
he is ok at long shots IMO
Great at kicking
Weak at judgment in his 6 yard box
The foul against Chelsea last year was horrendous

We've needed a proper number 2 for years. Vorm wasnt up to scratch, neither was Gazza, neither is Hart.

Just that Lloris turns 34 soon so the need is becoming increasingly urgent, and needs addressing in the summer

I'm a bit confused, did no one watch Hart at all during his last couple of seasons at City and his stint at West Ham? He's been bloody awful for years, he's just playing to current standard (which is low).

Maybe one of the youngster will be good enough
There really isn’t many clubs with quality back up between the sticks now
United have it.. but from memory that’s it

I prefer Gazza, he actually played decently for the injury spells Lloris had last season. Hart I just can't see doing anything in a real game. He can't save shots from distance low or high. [emoji2367]

Said at time and will say it again he is not at it. Yeh nice guy, yeah nice to have round the place but he is a poor level keeper by todays standards.

Shame really as I say, nice lad.
