Forgot about this, Crawford looked too good in the highlights. Brook know's he's just topping up his pension now.

Brook looks done, the mental scars of the GGG punishment is obviously there. I see the fight happening with Khan as its really the only fight left for both.

Tomorrow is a good domestic dust up, I think Dubois, Joyce just looks too slow TBH.

Interesting to see if Joyce thinks Dubois is a pussy, or whether you'd call DDD a pussy to his face rather than on here?

Called it wrong (big surprise), Dubois' jab is usually so strong but he couldn't get around Joyce's, that alone would have probably won on points but a jab to close it off had a sad ring of truth to it all things considered.


Edit - broken eye socket - thought it might have been..Speaks volumes of Joyce’s strength / technique

Ready to acknowledge how embarrassing this post is yet? It’s a doozy, even by GG standards

I’m starting to think we should have badges you have to earn before posting in certain threads. I know fudge all about horse racing / betting so I’m not going to wade in to that thread kicking off about some jockey being offside or some brick.

If you look at the timing of the post, it was 5 minutes after the event happening. My reaction was he quit. I am very much not alone in that assessment, and I stand by it. For such a big powerful guy he did look a bit of a 'pussy', I apologise for such a scathing comment at that moment.

As for my knowledge of boxing, you will never know. You can disagree with my assessment, fair enough, but shutting people down on the random section of a football forum....not for me Clive.:)
 
Well, my bet didn't go to plan. Looks like Warren's "New AJ" isn't really the new AJ.

Massive result, a win puts Dubois in contention against the Chisora's and Whytes of the world, that's one step from the AJ/Fury/Wilder tier.

Now, he's going back to the Price's of this world. 12 years younger than Joyce, he has time on his side, but that's a massive loss. Think at best he'll only ever reach that second tier and not top tier.

I can't shut you down, you've done it to yourself bud...Not meaning to come off aggressive in my reaction to your reaction but timing means nada imo, like if someone said something racist / homophobic. If anything a gut reaction is more honest...

Pretty sure I've gauged the level of your boxing knowledge and it doesn't involve the experience of having stepped in to the ring professionally; you wouldn't have made such an ill-judged comment were that the case.

Edit - Standing by the viewpoint of "a broken eye socket should be ignored in the quest for victory" you're watching the wrong sport. Celebrity death-match might do something for ya

Like anything it's how he takes the loss I guess. Time to heal up can be a good thing for him as long as he doesn't dwell on it and sulk.

Watched a bit of Joyce before but a different beast in that fight, impressive display..

if Dubois wants to kick on, he's got several areas to improve on, and most noticeably it's his lack of offense on his left and footwork. Both can be improved, but like i said for me, not sure he'll hit the top top bracket.

It's all good mate. We all learn things on here and having read about the seriousness of fracturing the orbital bone I hope a young man like Dubious makes a full recovery and this defeat doesn't haunt him.
