Hugo Lloris

What's with the punching of easily catchable balls, though?

Clem would've caught that one yesterday and Big Pat would've caught it with one hand!

Yes i saw that yesterday and my first thought was he could easily have caught it. I agree about Clem and Pat as well.

Can't remember one yesterday he punched? Although if I have one minor quibble with him this season, I do recall him doing that a couple of times when it looked easier to catch.

He’s been excellent since he came back from that awful injury. Can’t recall any howlers. I’d like to think Jose has told him to keep it simple and realise his own limitations when it comes to distribution. And as Lloris has got older and taken stock and worked on his game and made adjustments. The save from Mount was better than I initially thought.

We're defending deeper, so less of a need for him to sweep where his decision making has let him down in the past.

He keeps it simple on the ball more, but so does everyone else so he's being asked to play an easier game.

I also think we're defending our own box better so there aren't as many of those dodgy involvements in the box from crosses, though there was one yesterday that could have been costly.

New GK coach needs to be given some credit here, no matter how good our previous GK coach was under Poch, the change seems to have done Lloris some good. I'd say specifically he saves more with his feet, better at claiming crosses and better at distribution (he always was a good shot stopper)

He's very much back to his very best after an extended period of poorer form leading to look a bit dodgy. The change has been very good for him, looking as good as ever.
