still not sure whether to order the download version overnight or just pick up the disc tomorrow?
Had a few games with my kid , he had early access. Undecided on it. It’s quicker than last year. Passing feels a lot better. Still just don’t know tho. Keepers are terrible anything across them goes in.

Just finishe the Last of Us 2, have to say that was an intense game, like nothing I have played before

How did it compare to the first one? I love that.. Have you played them both? I'm thinking of waiting for the PS5 before investing in any new games but not sure if it'll be backwards compatible either..

If you played the first and got into the story this one will make you conflict with your feelings, cant say too much without spoilers. I read some reviews online that the game was built in order to make people think about life rather than being a game that leads to a happy conclusion. I liked it but it is dark, graphic wise its amazing and Seattle is exactly like Seattle in real life.

I do want a PS5 but the release titles look ok not amazing and they are just bringing out a next Gen GTA 5 rather than 6 I think, so unless its out of this world different I am not sure if I will rush for it

Ahh fair.. The review footage I saw of Last of Us 2 was very gritty and brutal, moreso than the original. Probably have to be in the right mental space to play it then.

Amazing that GTA5 came out 7 years ago, still very popular and making Roackstar loaaads of money. flimflam they won't bring out a new one for PS5 though.

Apparently their go to game so I find an upgrade on 5 a cop out rather than a new game. Talk is they are going to consider a third Red Dead Redemption.

I might have to start GTA5 again as I am pretty much out of games now

I hope not . Red Dead 2 was dull. Graphics and the open world were great. But it was a real chore to finish it.

GTA was far more enjoyable and still a go to. Hope they make a new one.

Last of us was brilliant couple people I know did not like 2 at all so a bit conflicted to try it as the first was so good. Don’t want to spoil it.

I loved Red Dead BUT the last few chapters seemed there for sake of it. The going to that Island was worthless then you get to open the Wild West and literally do nothing there, surely you cut the overseas and use more of the Armadilo area? That annoyed me.

I might start GTA again tomorrow when the missus goes out for her daily walk.

Red dead 2 dragged out a bit in the middle. Same with GTA 5 to be fair. Both excellent open world games, but far from perfect. They're both far too easy to be really engaging, in my opinion, but both are all about just enjoying the ambience and exploring the vast world (in my opinion).

Agreed on difficulty. Outside of the story. The world is far more enjoyable with the variety of weapons and vehicles. Also the online game in GTA is far more engaging.

I tried to re start GTA got a little way through but just ended up tearing about and never went back to the story.

Just finished replaying Uncharted 4 . That’s a great game

I want a racing game on the PC, any recommendations for someone who hasn't gamed in about 15 years other than MarioKark on the switch against my kids

Not a PC player myself but do love a racing game.

I do believe on PC IRacing is the go to especially for realism or Assetto Corsa

If you want something a little less serious try Project Cars 2.

GT Sport on PS4 is brilliant.

Anyone got a PS5? Reviews please
So far not much to write home about.

Adaptive triggers are great for immersion, terrible for serious gaming.

Load times are excellent, storage space still gash.

Don't have a 4k projector but it is 120hz. Was hoping for more 120hz games but most have gone for pixels over smoothness so there's not a lot to see.

Will probably upgrade the proj when GT7 eventually comes out.

On the upside, PS4 Pros are still selling for over £200 on eBay with accessories to the upgrade will only have cost around £100.

Graphic differences not all that much difference then?

There are some nice improvements if you're playing 1080p@60 but it's not so much that it jumps out at you.

I prefer frame rate to pixels when it comes to gaming so I'm not that fussed about 4k@60. If you want 4k@120 you'll need an Xbox, but if you run it through a receiver you'll have to wait a while until they're reasonably priced.
