Harry Kane MBE

Just re-watched the game and the guy is working so hard and seems to be getting better all the time. His awareness of what is happening around him is brilliant.

It’s easy to say now but they’re made for each other. Jose is a dominant personality who likes his players to be humble, buy into his vision and work for the team.

Harry is an incredibly good pro above all else and wants to win stuff. He knows he has a manager who knows how to win stuff.

The performances Harry is turning in are up a notch from what he produced under Poch. And he was world class then.

I said the same yesterday to my old lady, he has lifted his all round game up another notch this season.
 
I'm hoping that, just when teams are getting used to Kane dropping deep and playing quarterback, Jose changes it up again, plays N'dombele and Lo Celso together, and unleashes Harry to score a shedload. He's long overdue a hat trick or three!
 
Kanes all round game has always been top class - there's a good video showing his non goal scoring moments from one particular season on YT and it's the same game he is playing now, you'd have been forgiven for thinking you were watching De Bruyne or a creative player of that calibre.

What's happening now is we are attacking through less players so more play is going through Son and Kane than when we played with Eriksen and Alli in that space also

I agree to a point and football is a team game, Kane can’t control how well his teammates play. But I do think he needs to win a title at least to be considered better than some of his peers. I hate Thierry Henry but I can’t deny he was one of the best PL players ever. But he never scored in a final in his entire career, or a semi final. And he played in lots of them for the Arse, Barca and France. I think trophies are the final piece of the puzzle for Kane. We’ve finally got the players around him and the manager to help share the load and have the right meteorology.

The main thing is, with the demise of Poch it was a worry Kane might be considering his options BUT I'd say Jose has turned that round, Kane believes WE can do it, and if he can do it with us, it will mean 100 times more to him.
 
I'm baffled when you see what he can do why no one in the England set up can see how they can use him. It always seems that he is passed to as a last option and you never see anyone make runs like Son or Dele in his prime as they know he'll find them. Rashford and Sterling run with their heads down and only look up when they run out of space.

Noticeable how much time Jose has spent lauding Kane in pressers recently, and that almost more for his commitment and work ethic than for his exceptional talent. Clearly recognises just how key Kane will be to him and the team when it comes to winning trophies.

In the future it wouldn't surprise me if asked to name his top 3 players he's worked with (all things considered) that Kane would be one. As a player he's just everything Jose wants.

And Ronaldo with a bit of Modders getting involved.

But I mean right now, is there anyone better?

Jose said he would make him the best player in the world......I think he pretty much is.

He's been doing those things for a while for sure. The frequency of those involvements this season has been different level.

Mostly down to style of play yes. Not sure the number of players we push forward is the only, or even main, factor. More the positions he's taking up.
