Following PL meeting today they have decided to review PPV £14.95 package after next international break which means that our games against Brighton and WBA away will both be on PPV.
After Neville's scathing remarks on MNF last night I'd suggest that this isn't a Sky/BT unilateral decision.
I won't be paying it on principle so will listen on the radio - I reckon it must be best part of 20 years since I last couldn't even watch a home game so might go old school and listen on the radio hopefully on 5Live (as opposed to talksport) and/or will stay away from result and watch on MotD.
Takes me back to the early 90s listening to many of our games on Capital Gold with Jonathon Pearce commentating!

There are loads of free streams?

I can live with a live blackout.

Although I don't think there is one in the US.

they do a live blackout in the local area of where the game is being played if it has not sold out. So, if you lived in Tampa, you couldn't Gamepass the game at home if tickets available to actually attend in person.

I like that personally.

Anyway, on the topic at hand, i will happily PPV for events worthy of it. big boxing fights most of the time i'll pay, but not all the cack that Eddie Hearn tries to shove on for £19.99 - prick.

Anyway, i refuse to pay £15 for one Spurs game. no chance. I can easily find a stream and watch it delayed, i dont mind. I just cannot accept a £15 for standard game of football, that is nuts. That's more than the monthly charge for Sky Movies for example, or a whole month of Netflix/Prime.

If it was a £5, i'd probably have paid for a bigger game, for Brighton i'd still stream.

it's £15 for a live PL game, an alternative to a £30 ticket to have to go to the stadium, sit in a plastic seat and be surrounded by idiots

I think its great

No, it's an alternative to a stream which is the same thing but (a) a choice of 3 different commentary teams (b) 2 minutes delayed

I do think that £15 is too much but i would miss seeing the game more than i would miss the money...

But i do have a question.... I have got a BT box and pay them for all the sport on both BT an SKY...

It says that the game is on SKY box office so on the night of the game will i just be able to go to the correct channel, select it and probably agree to paying? Am i correct in assuming it just gets added to the bill..

Thanks..... COYS
