Ndombele looked a lot more lively which was great to see. Moura was poor, Dier average, Davies a mixed bag and the rest decent to good. Kane motm.
Dier won everything that came his way
So did Toby and more so considering he was smashed
I don’t believe wood had a shot all game on target

Dont worry, won't be long until he's a brick one footed injury magnet who dwells on the ball too long.
Don't get me wrong mate I like him, but it's like he's our messi. Kane was fudging brilliant again, goal saving effort one end and created a goal out of nothing the other. And we are talking about Lamela and his fudging corner. He didn't change the game Kane did.

@milo
Kane shades it from Ndombele for two bits of magic in an otherwise poor showing ( by his standard) against Ndombele who I thought was consistently good.
Honourable mention for lamela.

Think Harry should watch himself in shower, name checked everyone bar lamela, including bale who I don't think he has even played with yet.

Watching Carragher's analysis of the goal, it's really poor defending from Burnley. Almost twice as many players in the box, but most of them charges out towards the ball and leaves our players with a much easier job at the back post.

Reminded me of the AVB days, nothing really happened but I was always comfortable that we would win it.

Proper.

Few standouts for me
Tanguy was great but still made some sloppy passes
Kane was decent as was son
The two CBS IMO won their battles
But Hojdjberg was outstanding again @milo
Pressing, chasing, passing. Immense
And I say that as one that didn’t want him

I’ll add that Davies and Doherty were a average to poor but their men never did that much 1 on 1 against them so maybe it’s an over reaction

Hugo took every corner he could too
