So, this will be our first match in the Europe League group stage. This could be tricky as we don't know much about our opponents LASK. Hope we will play our best available team against them. After the disappointing 3-3 draw with West Ham, we need a good performance and result to lift our morale. It will be great if we can keep our first clean sheet of the season. Really want to see Lamela starting this match. His hard work and creativity can really help us against any opponents. Let's hope we will turn up with the right team and get a convincing win over LASK.

The team is out matey

I wonder how the front 4 will line up. None are the #10 really, unless Bale suddenly fancies it.
Lamela sometimes surprises us with a through ball, but usually dwelllllllls and naffs it up. Clearly not Moura nor Vinny

Mourinho has played Lamela at #10 a few times, Bale has done it too.

I think Mourinho is taking undue risk with the team lineup. We should have started with our regular goal scorers Kane and Son. Vinicius is untested while Bale doesn't look fully match fit yet. After their mistakes against West Ham, Sanchez and Winks should not be risked in this match. At least it is good to see Lamels start though. Let's hope Lamela can inspire us to overcome LASK.

It's first game of the group stage, no big deal. Worth rotating.

Kane has a record for picking up injuries through being overplayed. We should be delighted that he is starting on the bench. Let's hope for a good team performance, so that he stays there all night.

Sanchez had to play given no Dier, Tanganga and Rodon, and Toby unlikely to play 2 games in 4 days, when he might also be needed next Mon and Thurs

Agree that I'm surprised with not starting Kane and Son. I think he'll want to win the first 3-4 games and then rotate more later in the group games

Are you actually being serious?

Interesting line-up....i'm hoping LASK don't have tall forwards....

Alli must still not be cutting it in training atm. Good to see Lo Celso back on the bench and also Lamela.

And of course Bale!
