Better for him and his confidence if he comes on for longer in the second half and bags a couple in my opinion.
I essentially think he needs minutes on the pitch more than he needs confidence.

I would be surprised if he was short on confidence in the first place. When he came on against West Ham he looked rusty, but he didn't look short on confidence. Taking the free kick early, ambitious on the ball, running at and going past defenders for the big chance late on.

Game time, getting used to the system, getting the feel of playing with his new team mates, the physical aspects of playing. That's what he needs imo.

The game should have course develop in many different ways. One way or could go is that some way into the second half it's more or less over and a chance to bag a couple of goals. I think that will do less for him than a good performance over an hour from the start.

Exactly.

I’ve just been reminded by an ex colleague that I’ve been to Linz when I went on a factory visit to the Czech Republic via Vienna.
We got hammered and there was a bar with hidden doors to the toilet which we couldn’t find because we were so drunk
I have no recollection of staying there at all

That sound familiar.

Sorry Boston
Yeah. Although as usual the numbers being reported around them aren’t true. I’ve had people tell me what im charging and it’s complete lies. But it happens.
there are some shockers right now “supporting” the government ripping them off left, right and centre with idiots that know the right people. It’s quite grim knowing all the hurdles I have to jump though :mad::mad::mad::mad:

The more i think about it, the more i think Jose will play a strong team to get 3 points on the board and have some breathing space initially (so we are not having to put extra effort later and can rotate with even less urgency etc).

With that it mind i think Kane might actually start with Bale and Bergwijn...

It's possible that he might pick strong teams at home in Europe and second ones for away games. It's tricky to know how he feels about rotation and getting everyone game time until we've played a few group games.

I hope you're first suggestion is the case. However, with no fans around to watch games generally, who knows?

I'm thinking he'll be eyeing up the what is our most tricky schedule opposition-wise between now and Christmas and may work his way backwards from there so that at that time he can be less bothered about playing a strong EL team at that time so he can concentrate on having his best available for the PL games
