Jose Mourinho - SACKED

Dont think Jose made the wrong subs, we were awful most of second half and needed fresh legs, Moura on the break, Winks to hold up the middle, think the subs were the right ones.

The issue is, they were the wrong players we needed on the pitch. As @Raziel mentioned above and i posted in another thread, if we had Lamela to bring on, this result doens't end up like this. Crazy i know, but he's the sort of dingdonghead you need to close off games.

Dier's got a strong meteorology that Jose loves, also lacking.

Am fuming but think Jose made the right calls, just a brick show that Winks didn't put his foot through the fudging ball.
Agreed on the subs. Seemed sensible enough.

The way we played overall both before the subs and after needs questioning. We were clinical in the extreme to be 3-0 up, yes we deserved to be ahead and it was a very good performance in the opening half an hour. But after that we were not very good. The players seemed to think the game was over and we were punished.

Good lesson for the players, but they need to learn quickly.

Jose being Jose, controlling the narrative .. it doesn't have to make sense ..
I think it makes a lot of sense.

I'm guessing it mirrors at least to some extent what is happening with the players behind closed doors. The 3-3 happened, identify what needs to be worked on, work on it, but move the fudge on.

He's telling journalists that he doesn't want to talk about the 3-3, mistakes made, he wants to focus on the next game. Then trusting journalists to not focus on what he doesn't want to focus on.

It's been quite a transformation. Lots of Spurs fans, quite rightly, being concerned about the stodgy style of play last season. This season is a whole new ball game and we need to get behind this initiative. The talent has been assembled in the form Mourinho wanted and it's looking bloody exciting. You wanted Spurs style football? You got it. It comes with games like that against West Ham. It also comes with 6-1 schitt kickings of ManU. One thing's for sure: It won't be dull this season.

Anyone judging Mourinho on last season's clusterfudge was way to premature. With a totally unbalanced squad and long term injuries and suspensions to key players, he did incredibly well to get us a European place. A hint of his attacking intent came with three goals in each of the first three games and the 5-0 demolition of Burnley when he had both Kane and Son available. Now we have a much more balanced squad and it looks like exciting times ahead. Hopefully the endings to the Wet Spam and Saudi Sportswashing Machine games will prove mere aberrations in the greater scheme of things - the exception rather than the rule.

Nobody should be judged on the last 14 months, there's been so much upheaval and mess it's unbelievable.
