It's a great idea, one I've thought about before.

The difficulty isn't in getting set up, the tech is fairly simple. It's more like having a column or a blog where you need the regular content every week/month to fill.

I know we have some journos here, maybe they can help with the content and structure. We also have contacts at the club who I'm sure could arrange some interviews with ex players, etc.

Journos tend to feel about podcasts as artisan wool-carders did about spinning jennies. I’ve done okay in b2b information services for 25 years because I have a rough idea where the commas go. If a masked gang was taking hammers to the podcasting machines I’d join up like a shot.
