Joe Rodon

Mourinho seems to prefer Dier's vocality to Alderweireld's experience.
And diers mobility
It’s important that players can run and jump
Toby will get plenty of games but his legs have gone completely
It even showed vs England
I’d say soon that we will have Dier and Rodon left and Sanchez as Tanganga right

I wouldn't be surprised if this was his last year with us. He appears to be behind Dier in the pecking order and will have a year left on his contract next summer

Possibly, though I cant see Tanganga, Rondon or Dier leaving next summer. Who knows about Sanchez. Maybe we'll get in a big name CB allowing Toby to leave, but I could equally see Toby seeing out his deal by playing a bit part role, and then leaving for Ajax

Will be interesting to see where we spend cash next summer. Vinicius or another CF is an obvious position, and a successor for Lloris is becoming more and more urgent just because of his age and Hart not obviously being someone we'd want starting many PL game

I reckon we'll still be in for a more first team ready CB next summer, possibly/probably Skriniar
Maybe
I expect a permanent forward (possibly Carlos or even the Polish lad on a free)
Random one.. I think we will got Millenkovic Savic for one of the midfield berths
And maybe an additional CB depending on how Sanchez does this season

I wouldn't say a successor for Lloris is that urgent. This calendar year is probably the best he's played in a long time.
A successor will be needed in the next couple of years, but I would say a top-quality experienced CB is still the priority for the next transfer window or two.

I agree. I could see us shifting Alderweireld and Sanchez next summer. A new first choice CB in and Dier drops down to a reserve.

That's a different point entirely, we were talking about Dier. He's not going to be a first choice player for us, beyond this season, unless his form improves.
Maybe, maybe not. We will see I guess
I was definitely talking about Toby though when you originally responded to my comment
I’ve heard people say he has to start now because of the mistakes diers made forgetting the only game we have lost, he played and had a mare (like most did)
What I’ll also say with Toby was post lockdown I thought he was great. That’s the Toby we need to see back but this season he has looked like he has lead in his boots

And Dier and Alderweireld together lacks pace. Rodon can play LCB, Skriniar too, so this is obviously something that we've been looking to address.
I (we) were talking pecking orders?

So if you're moving it along...the LCB search is partly with the intention of shifting Dier over to RCB, giving him every chance to come good.

FWIW I've heard Skriniar ain't got much pace about him.
