Moussa Sissoko

I feel like we just need to keep moussa (and aurier) to help Ndombele settle in - clear that they are acting as the big brothers to him and helping him find his way in london. Loved that scene when it was the three of them chatting in the documentary.
I completely agree. I think we often under-estimate how important players are off the pitch for the whole squad dynamic. You only have to hear how highly key players like Lloris, Jan etc speak of Vorm to illustrate this - the scene with Serge, Moussa and Tanguy in AoN felt v revealing to me.

I think it's a bit of this .. plus in a compressed season, he's a good workhorse to rotate in.

I'd expect with his age, likely last season for him with us.

I will always respect him for his turnaround of fortunes at Spurs, not because I think he's brilliant but because he never gave up, never hid and always gives his albeit limited best.

I cannot solve the riddle that is Sissoko. First of all, his passing has improved. From being a pinball bumper he's now become astute in returning the ball promptly to the sender, with the added bonus of pointing in an arbitrary direction. For a player that has zero tactical awareness, that is borderline provoking. Actually, he's almost turned into PSM mark II, minus the shouting but certainly with the ability to halt momentum. Secondly, he is quite a good dribbler, but very rarely uses it for something. He just suddenly decides to do it. And every time I want to ship him to Chesterfield Wanderers, he does something great and I want to keep him. It's like a milk tooth that has nearly come loose.

We should sell at the first opportunity while people may still think he's a decent player.

He needs to work on his pointing. It cost us dearly in the final against Liverpool.

Sissoko is about a foot taller and has 10 times the strength, no excuse for him there.

It’s always a good bet when we play to go for the smallest player on the opposition side scoring a header.
Yeah but malbuena is a big cb whose taller and possibly stronger then sissoko

sissoko should do be better I agree but their player did now but very well

Is that Soucek at the far post there all alone in that pic? Shocking marking by us if so as he is probably their best header of the ball.
Yup, Soucek completely free at far post whilst Aurier and Hojbjerg seemingly marking each other...

Guess that’s where we could do with a vocal captain organising the defence at set pieces, so we don’t end up with 4 players caught under the flight of the ball whilst opposition have 3 on 2 at far post...

That top pic showing 6 of ours marking 3 of them is a shocker. Send it to Jose.
