Absolutely brilliant deal for us if so! I don't particularly rate Gazzaniga so would happily take this and either take a risk with Hart/Whiteman as our cover next year so that the £7m goes towards other positions, or spend the £7m on a decent GK prospect (or something in between)

- Really hard to see them out of top 4, even after that brickshow yesterday (Allison, Mane and Thiago to come back in)

I'd probably agree on the Skriniar deal (although there are plenty of other players that can help finance that deal, plus we could probably just buy him if we wanted too?)
My main point is. We may have a chance this season, it's hard to tell but we may?
Liverpool 100% have a problem, Allison is very good, Adrian is brick. Fact. Whatever Gazza is, he is one thing to Liverpool, hope. Hope that he can smooth over a bad situation. He may well not do BUT why give them that hope? They could be a direct competitor? So it's one variable we can control.
I understand, but it's last day .. if it works like I said where for us we are effectively swapping a 3rd choice GK for a first choice CB, it's worth the risk.
Do I think it will happen? not really .. Levy doesn't make a habit (anymore) of selling to PL rivals ..

I thought he’d want to go somewhere and fight for a number 1 spot, the one time he has a run of games he actually looked worse than his cameos, so maybe there’s a mentality that he doesn’t want the responsibility of being a number one? I’m a big believer there’s only so much improvement you can make in the training environment compared to actually playing matches.
