Everton

James racking up assists game after game. Richarlison and Calvert-Lewin continuing to blossom. They're finally going to be a threat this season I reckon.

He’s been decent, but they’ve only faced one good team so far and we were brick that day, giving him the freedom of the park.

Let’s see where they end up this season and how he performs against a proper midfield.

Hardly ready to award them the league title just yet after 4 games

I think they have done very well, Carlo is a good manager, no doubt.

No Europe is a bonus too, looking good so far but very early days. Liverpool will be a good test. Pickford is a concern for me, got away with it today but in a close game a keeper error can take the wind right out of your sails.

This feels different this season. Although it’s very early days there are some important structural differences to previous seasons. Lovely midfield balance with rotation options. Calvert Lewin scoring, Yerri Mina looking imperious at the back. They are a top striker and goal keeper away from being a regular top 4 side or even title contenders imho. Add to this that Arsenal, Chelsea and ManUtd are no great shakes alongside the “Ancelotti factor” I think they are serious top 4 contenders this season.

it also illustrates that when you have money, you can be anything. We’ve seen it before with CIty and Chelsea coming from nowhere. With Usmanov/moshiri money Everton have to be taken seriously.
