I think hes been ok without being especially influential. With some better forwards this game might have seen more use of his passing range?

As I say that Kane comes on.

I can't point to specific points in time obviously, but he's done it quite a few times in the second half.

Lyon was a well oiled machinery, he was the pivotal cog in it. He's basically just played himself into the team and some confidence. We might expect a bit too much too soon if we expect him to single handedly run a midfield.

What a pathetic cop out. Better forwards doesn't excuse a total lack of effort first half.
