Harry Kane MBE

One of the assists was so good it almost defied description - no-look, curved pass from way out on the right that took out the entire defence and then curled right back into Son's path in the middle.

I've only seen that once before, in 20 years watching football.

And that was...Kane, to Son, against Liverpool, when we demolished them 4-1 back in 2017-2018.

The man is just special - finishing ability of Lewandowski, passing ability of De Bruyne. And it will be absolutely criminal if he leaves us without winning something. He is far, far, far too good to suffer an indignity like that, and I'm glad it looks like our focus is now on making absolutely sure he wins things here.

Jose noticed it too. Just saying....

Said it a few seasons back but he has the passing ability of Teddy and its good to see that he has that ability to drop deep and use it. I also said that it would not surprise to see him drop deeper and feed a forward runner ( I really could see him doing this once Bale is fit)

Hs is not just a great CF he is a great player overall.

Kane said in his post-match interview "One of the passes I didn't really look, I knew he (Son) would be running in behind so it was just about putting it into the space." Pretty sure he was referring to the goal you're talking about.

Doesn't take anything away though, either way it was an incredible assist.

Don’t think it was that one. It was the third where he played it blind. They showed on BT that he took a look on the fourth one. It was superb.

Gives Jose great options and the opposition huge headaches if Jose can use him to drop deep like today or use him as a proper CF as the games demand.

He makes everything sound ordinary - just the way he is, I guess. :p "Yeah, no, like I say...." - you can basically predict a Harry Kane interview word-for-word, and it will be the same if he's scored a goal against Leyton Orient or shot down an asteroid headed for Earth.

But that pass was anything but ordinary, and I think he knows it.

Reckon he could bring down an asteroid with one of those passes?

Yep, just watched the replay of the goals and you're both right, he did look up for that fourth goal. Just amazing. Apologies @DubaiSpur.

I wonder if Kane playing behind Son and Bale might be an option against some opponents

He's finished apparantly to some scousers at work. Too slow, only score penalties, and should not even be playing for England, let alone Captain.

No doubt tomorrow morning it will be a case, 'he doesn't do it every week'.... show me a player who does laaaaaaaar

Sorry this seems to be an oxymoron?
