I thought Doherty's hand was in an "unnatural" position. Shouldnt have been on the Southampton player's shoulder.

yes, but I think it’s not *automatically* handball *just* because the arm might be in an “unnatural” position.

it’s a terrible decision, same with the Man U one yesterday.

Well that was absolutely lovely. And I have conference calls with SCBC fans all morning tomorrow. @milo Kane, Son, NDombele, but the prospect of Kane and Bale against, erm, generous defences is mouthwatering.

We gave them the first half, can’t ignore that, and improved their midfield somewhat by buying Hojbjerg. Still room for improvement.

Now that was a game of two halves. Not sure what to make of it.
I'd like to see Kane play behind Son more often, though, rather than leading the line.

Def the way forward on that showing, but then again, not all team will be as accomodating as Soton were in that 2nd half

He was pointing to winks to move out
That’s about as natural as it gets
The ball him bouncing off a players heel

Very very similar to Sissoko in Cl final, pointing out to another player, sadly with this rule, that is now a dangerous thing to do (not that I agree with the ruling)

Why is the rule though?
The natural shape is when the ball is kicked by the way
Not when the ball is deflected
