Gareth Bale

and we're off. Headed by BBC Sport and rival fans joining in.

'How can Spurs be allowed to do this deal when the club put staff on lockdown and took out a £175m loan off the Bank of England?'
'It's disgusting and immoral'

Of course, we are the only football club to do this in the history of the game. shame on us
I was surprised this didn’t come out earlier. We didn’t furlough anyone in the end, nor have we made anyone redundant. The loan is a security against a the unknown length of time until fans return, i.e a genuine source of income and will be repaid. There’s much bigger problems in the game than us investing what is ultimately money solely generated by ourselves and is the responsibility to pay back ourselves.

The BoE loan isn’t free either I’m sure? Loans are a major source of income for banks, it’s not a handout!

also, the arse did all of those things yet we’ve not heard a peep about that

just puff pieces on the genius that is Arteta telling players when they are out of position, a first for a football manager

A lot of players put on fake smiles that look so forced, but in all the clips of Bale he seems to be genuinely happy to be back.
Doesn't mean much in how he will play etc but if he's happy to be here it will hopefully have a good impact on the dressing room and give
the team a lift.

I always got the impression he hated all the media side of the game too. If he’s motivated to get fit and play him and Kane are a couple of great role models for our younger players.

I've seen a bit of Bale with Madrid, that isn't an act, that's the most I've seen him smile in years ..

We are all human, it must be amazing to come back to somewhere you are obviously loved after that experience with Madrid ..
