I know you're not being entirely serious but we still have a lot of work to do on the squad even with these two deals (if they go through)
We need to get Ndombele firing otherwise we lack creativity and need to address that in the market
We lack a DM as it appears as though that is not Hojbergs remit, whilst Dier and the manager thinks he's a CB.
We need to improve CB options as there are question marks over all 3 of our senior options there.
Back up CF. Though having both Son and Bale as options there does alleviate that somewhat.
Had us down as 5th in the expectations thread and after Everton my confidence of getting that took a huge hit - if these two (Bale/Rebullion) sign then i think it'll get us back on track to compete for 4th - if we want more than that, which i hope is the case it'll require more work.

That seems to be a very good signing. He deputised rather well last season.
£16m seems rather high for a backup GK.

I went by Transfermarkt https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/emiliano-martinez/profil/spieler/111873 who reckon £7.2m as a market value. i know they aren't 100% accurate but £16m did stand out as pretty high.
I meant he was back-up to Leno, it'd be like getting £12m for Gazzaniga.
Arsenal cashing in while his stock is high. He probably outperformed his true level last season.
