Davies would play CB I'd think in some games, he's actually pretty decent there. Having someone who can play LB and CB and is useful if not spectatcular at both whilst not being on mega wages and seemingly happy is a very good space to be in.

Never heard of this guy but I hear he has a lot of pace, don't know why Levy would agree to a buy back clause. Probably something that can be paid off at some point and I think Real spent big on a new LB last summer anyway.

I wouldn’t go that far.... but we’d at least have a left back of equal or better standard than Rose was.

I'm with you. I cant see that Sess would get many games. Reguilon first choice LWB/LC in league games and Davies either playing in a back 3 or LB in other games, Cirkin possibly in Carabao Cup

Will be interesting to see what level Sessegnon gets games at. I worry that if he goes to a PL team that he'll just sit on the bench, unless its a WEst Brom or similar

Plus Bale and Alli too? And 6 other midfielders in Hojbjerg, Sissoko, Winks, Lo Celso, Ndombele and Gedson? I don’t see it personally, especially as Jose has rarely done it (here or at his previous clubs).

I was going to reply to Mil's post but in my view
- you have Kane and New CF - I think we'll still need one
- Bale, Son, Bergwijn and one or Moura or Lamela for the wide forward positions, whether in a 4-2-3-1, 4-3-3 or 3-4-3 formation
- Dele is the big question - could play in a 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1
- Per your post, we have plenty of midfielders unless we're going top play 4-3-3 with Reguilon and Doherty as full-backs

So I dont see many departures. I'd like to see Lamela or Moura leave as I dont rate either and by the time you include Dele, we seem a little overloaded. That said, I could see them staying. CM again we're a bit fat, unless we play 4-3-3
