I thought there was a minimum of 8 homegrown players, not a max?
You could have 20 homegrown players and only 5 foreign if you wanted. If you have only 5 homegrown then the squad would be limited to 22.
Or am I misunderstanding this?

They start taking up the the "Free player" spots after you go over the max.
So yeah you can have 25 club trained in europe/ 25 homegrown in the premier league.

There's no minimum for homegrown. You can have 0 and just have 17 "foreign"
 
Right now we don't need to get rid of anyone for squad reasons (Gazzaniga could just be excluded from the Europa Squad) unless we are bring another player in.

Probably the deepest squad I've seen at Spurs ..
 
Ok, time to review after what was ultimately a GREAT window.

Pick your 1st 11, including formation, if everyone is fit when:

A) we are playing against a top 6/7 rival
B) we are playing against teams in midtable who might have a go with caution/motivation (e.g. Southampton, West Ham, Villa)
C) we are playing a relegation-threatened side who will likely park the bus

For bigger games consider replacing Lo Celso with Winks or Sissoko.

Kane listed twice as he plays both as a #9 and a #10 so it seems only fair to the opposition to at least make them aware that we're playing with an extra man.

I like that you added Kane twice. Playing with 12 would be great, especially with a Kane clone.
 
What a load of gonad*s this is , can you only have a maximum 3 players in any star sign, 4 players born on the same day of the week and only 2 players from an other planet?
 
Wonder if this now means Carter-Vickers will stay till at least January. Will probably want the cover. Especially for later Group stage games if we have managed to wrap the group up.

Absolutely bizarre.
Carter Vickers, Clarke and Whiteman all in. So we name 9 HG players.
One of which is technically taking one of the free players spots that Gedson or Gazzaniga could have taken.

I do think Gedson is a quality player (showed promise in his first few appearances) but after this snub I think its only fair on his future career prospects that we terminate the loan, as he simply wont get a kick now.

That is unless we consider him potentially a big talent and perhaps a long term replacement for sissoko.
