I don't think the press was all over the place, I think (well I know, I saw it with my own eyes) the players didn't do it, which is a massive worry

Which is why we are having such issues and why i think his time is limited (i.e. not many more months).
We are not West Ham (we are and should aspire to be so much better than that) and i'm sure many of us would have been aghast if we had hired Moyes...

there was a time when I'd have happily had Moyes

we've tried everything else, none of it worked, we've not tried brickhouse rope-a-dope, it's time, if this doesn't work we can shut the club down and get on with our lives

I do believe they had all their players there before the internationals other than the signings
For example Kane had 1 day with the team before internationals
Doherty has had 2 days
Winks was out, Tubby was out both with mysterious illnesses or COVID
Sissoko was out too wasnt he
And most of our team have been away and started internationals. It’s just silly the way the fixtures have been done for this season and it will break players
As I said earlier there midfield looked very fresh and capable. I may be wrong but I think that everyone apart from the defence was their all week in training for them

But we HAVE tried that before: AVB, some may say Santini...

I agree that ENIC have tried all sorts and ultimately the club's failing is down to them (e.g. what on earth would make them think Jose would achieve better with us than at his last two stints at megaclubs AND still not act any differently to before, e.g. being quicker and spending more in the transfer market)?

This is our most barren run as a club and it's come under their stewardship..i agree that if even Jose cannot do anything under their ownership then the focus will be SQUARELY AND UNQUESTIONABLY on them..

If you mentioned all this stuff BEFORE today's game then fair enough.

If not, it just sounds like excuses for Jose being outcoached today whilst others were not even though they also had many players away on internationals..

AVB was nothing of the sort, AVB was what Poch would have looked like with only one good player.

If Levy and Jose doesn't work, everyone else is cheating.

Why would I mention it
It applies to all teams
It’s not an excuse as I’ve said... it’s just facts that can affect performance
And as I’ve said today the teams that had players playing internationals looked worse this weekend
