Cycling thread

Is he sad because he can't afford a car and has to ride a child's toy about the place?

Mark Cavendish as well as being Britain's greatest ever sportsman is also a very wealthy man, years if million pound contracts add onto that his sponsorship. I know he is heavily involved in oakley.

No he said his depression came from being injured and not being able to do his job. Having multiple crashes when coming back and the excessive time spent away from his family contributed yo his medical mental health issues.

How the hell was Roman Bardet allowed to continue after that crash??? He was out cold, tried to get up, but fell again. Yet they practically lifted him on to his bike and shoved him off!!! Madness! He clearly had a concussion!

Been fortunate enough to have two weeks off so have seen some of the Tour liv on telly. Has been some great racing and that Swiss fella has set it alight.

Such a great programme by itv4.

Hoping to see The aussie hold onto his position and will take a day off to watch the time trial on the penultimate leg.

By rights I should hate cycling living near box hill but I put the Tour highest of all annual sporting events.

The ITV4 coverage is a notch below its usual standards this year due to the covid situation - and yet it’s still the best sports coverage on the box by a long way.

Did you ever do the drinking competition where you take a shot everytime david millar or ned boulting say definitive? Think someone has had a word because there not doing it as much this year.

I will watch it live then the highlights package in the evening because I like the segments they have on the history of racing.

Excellent few months coming up for cycling. Im tipping simon yates for the giro.

Sunweb today really did some excellent tactics today.

Agreed on the next few weeks. The book arrived a couple of days ago btw. One to finish first, but looking forward to reading it.

Something really happened Ineos's doping supply chain during the lockdown.

I'm sure they'll be back winning everything next year.
