Tottenham Hotspur Women

Australian international Alanna Kennedy reportedly signing on loan. After 3 or 4 Aussies + the coach at the gooners, this is welcome.

Dunno how we've pulled it off, but it really is a massive coup.

Comparable with the men's team signing Messi. She's the cover girl of women's football. The following she'll bring with her as well.

A SONG FOR ALEX

We've got Mor-gan, Alex Morgan,
I just don't think you understand
She's only here as a loaner
She might give you a boner
We've got Alex Morgan

Looking forward to Alex Morgan showing Americans the delights of living in Haringey, like the series she did whilst on loan in Lyon...

She just had a kid a few months ago and it's probably just a half season loan to get fit for the next NWSL season (presuming they manage to vote out the orange turd and get the virus under control). Still enough to actually make me want to watch a match.

Wow, that really is a coup, even if it is only for three months

The BBC are saying it's a loan until December. It's still huge though.

Just getting her here for three months (I think) is fantastic for the women's team - sign of intent. Obviously the preferable thing would be to sign her permanently, but hopefully this raises our profile and the profile of the WSL more broadly.
