It's caught me on the hop. I normally like to spend a bit more time thinking about my team (before it all falls apart a few months in when I miss a wildcard window, forget to change a team before the deadline or foul up my Triple Captain choice)
 
I'm not done yet, but this is my baseline. A bit difficult with the postponed games, but I think this is an OK base for the next 3 game weeks. Have to take a few chances if you want to get a good start, and differ from everyone else.

I really want to put Kane in my team. But there's so many other solid options for midfield that are then unaffordable.

Allows people to create teams that are even more overbalanced with goal threat but cheap defensive options if they want.

Yea but it gets to the point where they may as well just do GK, defenders and attackers and sack off the midfield category all together.
