All or Nothing - spoilers

Halfway through Episode 5 and realised I needed a shower. A really interesting insight into the transfer window, we all know Rose is a bit hotheaded and outspoken, but I just think he came across as someone frustrated who wanted to play. The club handled him well I felt, and Eriksen - they made it clear to him they didn’t want him to leave but Levy was open and honest and the deal got done. Its a really interesting insight.....

I may just sneak episode 6 at some point today too!

Rose is a prick, woe is me attitude instead on trying hard to get in the team - if thats the attitude of other squad members no wonder we won nothing in past few season.

There is the problem. If rose is a prick and Jose wants cnuts no wonder he’s on the outs.

Surprised that both Eriksen and Rose were asking Levy how their potential transfers were going, particularly as his interests are very different to their own.

Would have thought their agents would find buying clubs and do the dirty work.

When Levy said "20 million euros is not a lot of money" and kept a straight face amused me :)

Rose is bang on. You cant play him once and expect him to play like he's been match fit for weeks.
Mourinho just needed to admit he doesn't fit into his wonky full back system.

I thought the same + Rose is entitled to his opinion and showing character he wants to play.

Also thought Eriksen seemed very professional about the fact he was leaving.

When Rose said if you don’t want me I stay at home and train alone, put the final nail in his coffin. When Levy said he wants to play for a top club, but only mid level ones wanted him, made me smile.

Ricky Villa's goal against City - it's got to be one of the most overrated goals in the history of football. One successful dribble, he kind of fumbles it past the second guy, and the goalie is brick as fudge, and it goes in. Hah. :p now, burn me at the stake. :p

One thing for me that really surprised me

jose says press press press
The players look at him as though they understand ... and then don’t press

Yeah, I've noticed that too. He seems to say it a lot, yet we haven't been pressing high at all!

This Hitchen fellow though. "I hate the January transfer window". What? It's one of very few months in a year where you can do your job, mate! Jesus. Just seems a bit deflated, that guy. His record isn't exactly great. Need to move him on, surely.

I didn't like the Rose quotes when I read them and I still think he was disrespectful to the manager and his team mates but I do have some sympathy for him after watching it. I think he just wants to play football. He's a self styled "tell it as it is" merchant but without being any way clever about how he goes about it and Levy was right, he does harm himself because of that.

Thought Eriksen came across well.

Levy seems incredibly approachable/available. I never thought for a moment that he would be this involved with the players.

If he cant unearth gems which is probably harder then me trading the football index he should at least be identifying better mainstream targets.

Levy toadie, so unsurprising that he said exactly what the boss wanted to hear.

Very, very unimpressed with the guy's demeanour, but who knows, maybe he's really good at his job. Hard to say so when he was presumably behind the Ndombele signing, though.
