If he was on a free I was starting to think he might be worth a punt. just so long as his wages weren’t silly or anything, and would fit neatly into our wage structure.

Average salary in Spain is quite low, so I don't think he'd be super expensive....

Even if this Lionel character gets a work permit, he’d be taking a home grown player’s place in the squad. And he’s a midget. The whole thing looks very flimsy and I resent the way the club gets used by these attention-seeking wantaway chancers,

Good point. Jose does prefer taller players to defend the back stick at set pieces.

Too old
No resale
Too short, can’t defend the near post
Doesn’t track back
Not particularly fast, may have lost a yard of pace
Too one footed
YT highlights reel is ok I guess

Let’s face it guys, he ain’t gonna fit that DM role

Levy's eyeing the replica shirt sales.

Barca will cash in, someone will pay £30m for him give him a £50m signing on fee then pay him £300k a week. Barca get some money and free up his wages, Messi gets a years wages upfront as well as an extra £300k a week and someone has spent £80m on the best player in the world.

His wages at Barca are £1m a week and the total package is worth £100m a year.

Why do I think it'll be a 5 year contract with NYC with a 3 year loan deal to MC thus completely bypassing FFP.
In my simple mind that would actually work, not that City care about FFP. Hopefully it will be a tinkletake too far and UEFA do something about it, otherwise it would be simple to have a loss making feeder club outside of Europe to do this which could include buying unwanted players at inflated prices too?
