Josh King

No problem with him or Wilson, however I saw that the press were putting a £25m price tag on King. If thats true then I dont see him coming to Spurs as I cant see us spending that on a 28 year old back-up this season

He isn’t worth it

I see that Brentford have signed Ivan Toney from Peterborough, Toney was top scorer in league 1 last season. Only £5m as well. I expect they'll sell Watkins in the coming week or two now and be £12 million or so up overall.

They seem to do very impressive business there. Do they have a DoF type of set up?

They do, but it's their setup that's the key. They have the same owner as Danish side Midtjylland and both clubs are run on the 'moneyball' principles. Statistical data and mathematical modelling.

Two DOFs who basically debate and agree everything and an owner who made his money in sports betting and data
Their comfortably the best run club in the U.K. IMO
They have everything right to suit them and they progress year on year
New stadium too

If we was to buy a Norwegian.. Get Alexander Sørloth, yea I know he failed at Crystal P. But hes 24 fast and at Trabzonspor he scored 24 goals in 34 games, this season he has 7 goals in 7 games...

King classes as home grown though, which we need at the moment

True, but with 10 months left on his contract, and now in the Championship, can they really write-off say £10m-£15m? They'd be gambling that keeping him can get them back into the PL
Nope you could argue not
But if they can get back promoted it’s a gamble worth taking
Goals in that division get you promoted
TBH I haven’t a clue who else they have as an option to okay up top but didn’t they just put 5 past West Ham so their capable ... as much as west ham are awful

They have Solanke and some other young bloke I can't remember. Have no idea what your first paragraph is supposed to mean

That was meant to say they can gamble on get promoted by keeping him, as it’s worth more

solanke is imo awful big the championship is his level and I forgot about him

Can’t comment on the other player as I haven’t a clue

guess it all depends on the aspirations they have now as a club

They can of course gamble, they can take any gamble they want.

That doesn't make it a good gamble to take.
