One realistic signing

There is one player I would love to have at Spurs, and that's Thomas Müller! Fantastic player, who I think would be sensational behind Kane.
In a recent interview he was asked if he viewed himself as an attacker or midfielder.
He answered - Neither! I exploit space.
Bit of a digression in an already digressed thread, but is there a more similar player to Müller than our very own Dele Alli around?
N’Dombele. Please just get him fit and it will be better than any signing we could feasibly make this window....
Yes please and thank you.

No idea re realistic, I just hope the reason we are doing these "sensible" deals like PEH, Hart, possibly Callum (which if we sell Foyth will likely mean net spend of 0) is so we can push out on one top signing (maybe a 30-40M) to add to the team, not just rebalance and build depth.

That likely depends on Ndombele.

Leandro Damião

Plays in an Asian league, will be cheap and only 31 years old. No brainer for a backup striker.

Sabitzer
He has a great record and is available for £40m ish
He has moved leagues before and has shown his quality against us twice

Only seen Sabitzer in CL but his Bundesliga showreel is impressive plus he could take over from Wimmer as Son’s new Austrian bestie!

I wonder how much Aouar from Lyon would cost. Only 22 years old, has had a great season for Lyon and would be an ideal Eriksen replacement him being very versatile.

He looks like a quality acquisition for the right team. Wonder if Liverpool or Emirates Marketing Project might look at him if he's willing to accept limited game time but a crazy wage and a prestigious employer

How realistic are we talking here?

If we could've only made one modest fee signing this summer and then been forced to shut up shop then I would've been happy with that being Hojbjerg.... Jose fixed the biggest problem area in our team with his first signing, which was a very good sign I thought.

Trying to keep it semi realistic so looking at players from clubs of a lower perceived standing than us then the one player I would love to get would be Upamecano. He has everything and him paired with Toby or Dier with Hojbjerg in front of them would make us incredibly solid and I think Jose's low block counter attack game could then really thrive. I'm not sure the £45 million odd fee keeps it within the bounds of reality though?

So a more realistic signing in terms of transfer fee might be Pervis Estupinan from Watford. I think a lot of hype with him looks justified and he could be tailor made for the premier league. I think he'll go on to be a star for somebody and would love that to be us.

Is he the lad who got in the team of the season in Spain.

See my point above, I'm really hoping our strategy is

- We need about 5 players (DM, 3rd Keeper, RB, CM, ST)
- 2 done
- We are targeting HG and where we sell/trade (KWP for PEH, Foyth out for Callum type)

I'm thinking the strategy is primarily balance the team, fix the HG/foreign player issue, get the youth players out on loan, get some leadership qualities in.

But perhaps we supplement that strategy with one "team upgrade" buy, 35-50M to help us push on for a trophy, get us back in CL spots

You seen that they want £30m for Wilson
