Good to see this approach. Certainly with Skipp we know from Mourinho’s comments this is not a shop window loan.
I do wonder if things might have been different for KWP if he’d been on the edges of the first team now.
Let’s hope players like Skipp and Bowden can get good playing loans before coming back into the fold.

I am also really pleased to see Mourinho doing this. It would be easy for Jose to keep Skipp around as somebody who could provide a bit of cover just in case. While that might be best for Jose right now, it would be very bad for the longer term future of the player and Spurs.

My biggest criticism of Pochettino was his lack of willing to loan out the most promising of our youth players. Maybe he felt he needed to keep them around due to having quite a small squad but I think he would've been better off using the loan system and then being more demanding of the chairman to ensure an adequate sized squad.

Mate, I had to chat to them about something, mostly to distract them while you were getting stuck nuts deep into their mother!!!

Just seen online binks is off to bologna.


We have a hell of a lot of former youth players playing in Europe now.

The lad art PSV, Edwards, reo griffiths at Lyon, Bennett in Germany now binks at Bologna.

I know the trend is for players to try their luck abroad but i think something is very wrong with our academy.

I think that we are just paying the price for not loaning players out for a few years and it being difficult for most players to get first team opportunities.
