Champions League 2019/20

Well, whether it's two-legged, one legged, in front of 100k fans or zero, whether it's home, away or neutral venue, it doesn't matter. Some things don't change regardless ; The Champions league is fantastic, and City crash out in the quarter finals.

Must say I much prefer this World Cup style Champions League. Hope the format stays, group stages during the season and then 1-leg knockout games over a couple weeks from QF to Final.

Probably loses everyone involved too much money though.
I do as well. Think it might prove difficult fan wise. All in one city etc.

I don't know how to use the like button.

Pep is a fudging tactical GENIUS! They lost to Lyon on purpose, to avoid getting absolutely embarrassed by Bayern in the semi final. He should get more plaudits for that piece of brilliant managing!

That did cross my mind. He wanted to avoid a Barcelona result.

A very bizarre setup. While they have conceded bucketfuls in the knockout stages in recent years, all they managed was to limit their attack while still conceding the customary three.

Would it be a surprise with their money and front line

Yeah, its PSG, they are bigger bottlers than us.

As good as Bayern look, their big results have come against teams making absolutely no attempt to defend, their domestic results show them dropping points in 1/4 of their games and they usually concede.

I agree they should be favourites from the final 4 but I don't think they will swan to the title.
