Daily Fail says we are in for Troy Deeney....really????

Chelsea in for Nick Pope. Now he is the man who could have been a Lloris successor, would be jealous if they got him

Deeney has been being discussed as cover for Harry for at least a week!

Some may say I'm pessimistic but the reality is ... lock this thread right now ... Levy is tighter than a nuns asshole and will justify the lack of spending with corona virus ....

In the mean time other clubs will spend money.

I would not get carried away in this thread whatsoever.

Pope is class
I don’t see Chelsea spending the big money on him though as they need to shift Krapa first

I have a natural aversion to British goalkeepers. It doesn't help, they end up nervous wrecks due to the media.

Why do they need to shift him first?
Because they haven’t got any money now
It’s why their stalling on the Hiavertz
They need to sell quite a few now to find room for what they have brought already (They now have 4 strikers for one place for example)
I’m sure your gonna say that Roman will back them but he stopped that 5/6 years against and they now boast via Bruce Buck their self sufficient
They can of course gamble that they will be able to shift all these players after buying the ones they want but clubs IMO won’t do that in the current climate especially not when it’s players on very high wages
And you also have to factor in that the player their buying will look at players already there And make a call around competition for a place too

The idea of Deeney is better than what the reality would be - he's been terrible for ages now and wasn't much use in the first place.
