Eberechi Eze

Logically, we’re trying to avoid ‘net spend’ as much as possible.

We need a right back, centre back, deep midfielder and striker cover. If we’re to have 2 players per position that is.

KWP for PEH will cost us a bit of net spend. If Foyth goes, Kim should cost about the same.

We then need to invest further to fund a right back, although Castagne wouldnt be a lot as his contract is nearly up.

So, spunking £20m plus and getting involved in a bidding war for an attacking midfielder, will be down the list of urgent must haves.

Unless we get a cash influx, such as by flipping Ndombele.

If we sell Aurier as well, then the cash might for example be enough for a like for like in Aarons.

ITK’s are like candy floss sellers at the funfair, personally can’t stand the stuff but it’s all part of the fun of the fair and ads the the scene!
No need for us old farts to spoil the fun of the transfer windows.

There must be a lot of sad fudges about if they consider what Hercules has to say is fun.

If West Ham did manage to land him as well as having landed Bowen from Hull in January then it would be quite impressive from them and have their attacking midfield area sorted for some years to come.

Taking young players from the championship who are already up there amongst the best players in that league is a good option as there is no question of whether or not the players can cope with the pace and physicality of English football.

I know we're seriously cash strapped right now but I think it would be a very astute move to sign Ollie Watkins this summer even if loaning him back to Brentford. Even paying £30 to £40 million for him would be good business. I don't expect Kane to stay more than 1 more season and a player like Watkins would fit a Mourinho team really well.

Never rely on YouTube videos... but his vision looks exceptionally good. What's his work rate like?
Good
And he was playing much deeper earlier in, more in the area that Lo Celso was
His passing range is great IMO and he is two footed although that video doesn't show it
he is one IMO we will what for someone else to make their move On Before jumpin* in

The way he shifts his body weight to protect the ball and create space reminds me of a certain much-loved Belgian midfielder we once had.
There I said it. Comparison made.

Mind you, the way Eze uses a cheeky toe poke or spin to skip passed players with ease also reminds me of a certain French midfielder I am hoping comes good for us!

Bottom line for me is Eze is def a Prem player. He has a lot of quality but sadly looks like he fits positions we don't need to be spending money on (already have Lo Celso, Dele, Tanguy). So this ship will sail and he'll end up elsewhere.

Or we pay £60m for him next season after a great start at say Palace

We’re crying out for someone to compliment Lo Celso and this lad could do that. He also ticks the home grown box

Having seen Ndombele's carefree attitude to football and considering how little that he has given Jose since he has been at the club. It would probably make sense to move Ndombele on and use the funds to bring in Eze. We could probably even get a £15 million loan fee for Ndombele that would cover Eze's transfer fee. Considering wages as well the club would be well up on the deal.
