Is it just me who finds Michael Holding unbearable? He seems to have taken it up a notch in this series.
Like the world owes him and black people
Lovely bloke though, great commentator but has banged on far too much

Shame England didn't appeal that LBW at the end as would have been given out

Been another good test such a shame there have been no crowds to enjoy it. Although hopefully a few people may have been drawn to it / watched a lot more than usual due to wfh.

Stokes is a phenomenon, he’s like an singer with a extra octave the way he batted in each innings. Pleased for Broad as being dropped hurt him (and was a little unfair on pure performances). An opener who wants to bat time gave the team the platform though, it’s early days but we’ve been crying out for one since Cook.

I wonder what they will do regarding recalling Archer for the decider.

Can’t see Archer coming back.

Anderson was far from poor in first test, Broads firing, Woakes and Stokes look set too.

Great win

England got so much stick for the slow run rate, but could have easily been 300-350 all out at the end of day 1 had Sibley and Stokes just given up their wickets trying to play more expansive. As it is they demoralized and tired out the Windies and ensured we couldn’t really lose the test by tea time on day 2. Let Root be far more attacking with his fields for the rest of the game.

FFS! Why the fudge would they play 2 tests in Manchester? Why not the Oval or Lords or any other southern venue that would surely have the capability to do the social distancing etc.?

schedulers have fudged up big time, lessons to learn that no doubt won’t be!
