2020 - Pushing up the daisies

I clicked on this thread, assuming there would be lots of posts about Grant Imahara.

But no, just this link.

This guy was a genius, an educator, an entertainer. He died aged 49 from an aneurysm... yet almost nobody cares.

Whereas there are numerous posts for 80+ year olds that died. Go figure.

Probably just not well enough known, or with a big enough name, rather.

I knew his face from watching Mythbusters back in the day, but not his name, and I had no idea he was regarded as especially gifted.

Tragic to go that soon though. 49 is no age.

fudge, Tim Smith of the Cardiacs. RIP. Had so hoped that he'd get better, and (selfishly) that they'd play live again one day.

Such a great band. Time to go and listed to Sing to GHod in its entirety.

My Nan passed this afternoon
She was 90 and has some incredible stories of her being an evacuee in the war and also how her father lost his fortune in the Wall Street Crash
A wonderful kind and incredible lady and an amazing Mum/Nan and Great Nan
She will be hugely missed

Sounds like quite a lady. Hope the next few days and weeks are as easy on you and the family as they can be.
