American politics

Ever since Twitter started fact checking his diatribe nonsense and with the election being less than six months away, he's got nothing to lose now.
Whatever happens in November (if there is an election). He's not leaving without a fight. And a race war is brewing here BIG TIME. The South NEVER gave up fighting the civil war and with McConnell and Graham in the Senate providing ballast to that knuckle dragger Trump the USofA is fcucked.

Putin is rubbing his grubby hands at the fact.

I think Trump is quite clever (yes i know, unintentionally) ......

He's inflammatory, bs talking and outlandish so often, that unlike other countries where a story comes along every now and then, Trump layers them on so much that no story gains much traction before the next bs arrives and its just a sea of bile, never tested, never cleared up. Obviously im not sure how healthy this is....but rather annoyingly, it's Trump that likes it this way.

A firehose of falsehoods or as Bannon describes it - "The real opposition is the media. And the way to deal with them is to flood the zone with brick.”
It's intentional.

This twitter spat is going to get interesting. I see twitter stuck another warning tag of one of Trump's tweets last night. I don't think Dorsey has the cojones to pull Trump entirely off the platform but the labels are making him spit feathers.

I'd be very interested to see how far both parties take it. I think the assumption is that only Trump/Conservatives have and will be fact-checked, however this has already shown to not be the case. If anything, I'm sure Trump's calling out of fake news in the last 5 years has had a part to play with taking this action on the platform and should be classed as a positive across the board if implemented correctly and fairly. I like Dorsey, I thought he presented himself well after the two Rogan podcasts (would recommend if you haven't listened). He accepted back then that they would have to look at their policy where evidence was gathered showing harsher punishment on conservative posters than that of left-leaning posters, and he's done this.

Re: Twitter itself, I have an account but I find it difficult to scroll through regularly as it can escalate into a hotbed of vileness very quickly. However it is incredibly useful for breaking news, fact-checking through reputable and informed means and literal laugh-out-loud content.
