Just watched Extraction on Netflix, the whole over the top, unrealistic, beat em up isn’t usually my thing, but I really quite enjoyed this.

Typical Guy Ritchie plot devices only massively over-produced and slathered in liquid cheese. Anyone who enjoyed it is a total and utter simpleton.

I’m watching the Untouchables and it’s so close to be a great film.
De Niro us woeful in it, the musics awful and a few of the lines are cheesy, oh and the effects like Nitti coming off the building is dreadful.
I really enjoy it as a film and this is about the 20th time watching. just those bits nag.

Thanks for the suggestion, what a fudgein film!!!!!!!! As I'm learning Spanish atm it's always nice to get a reality check of where I'm at and fudge me Mexican Spanish is hard to understand!!!!
As long as it's done well I always enjoy that kind of intertwined storytelling. Some of it was a tough watch eg the dog fighting, also the enchant model constantly yelling "Riiicheeeeeee!!!!!!" was grating so say the least but yeah, solid shout.

I count it as a great movie and the fact you and I both have watched it over 10 times would go some way towards proving that. For all it's small flaws it is just a bloody good watch and is timeless.

Was going to watch the Gentlemen on an iTunes rental last night, but spotted it was only a 1080p stream with non Atmos sound! brick for a full price rental.
Watched Extraction (with Thor) on Netflix instead. Really enjoyed it - good action film with some brilliant one shot set pieces and Hemsworth was really good too.
If you like a bit of John Wick or The Raid, then this is a good fun watch.
