Spurs in UCL if league is scrapped?

Just read something about UEFA using the European coefficient over the last five years to determine next seasons Champion League spots, if the Premier League is abandoned. In which case, if City are banned we will qualify.

Yes
Farcical the value of Europa is carried as high in their points model yet valued so little by them as an organisation

Crazy really, are these the rankings?

City
Liverpool
Man Utd
Arse (!)
Us
Chels

So if City aren't banned we would lose out to a team that last qualified for the CL in 2016 [clown emoji]

Yep and Chelsea who won a European competition are below them too despite beating them to win it
And united who haven’t really been in it much lately too get the “credit for past success”
AC mIlan would qualify in Italy I think the way it’s fudged (I haven’t checked but their another benefitting from being good years ago)

If the results of this season are wiped from the records then the only fair way is to go by last seasons standings.

Although i do wonder whether they may scrap european football for 1 season - travel abroad may be prohibited for a while even if domestic leagues are able to go ahead
Makes sense
Have to feel for certain players though as their goals will be struck off their record

Chelsea got more Coefficient points for winning the EL than Liverpool did for winning the CL.
Because of the extra round of games in the EL.
The system is ridiculous.

And Barca got more points than Liverpool who beat them in the CL semi, while Ajax got more points than us.

So basically it's better for your European coefficient to get knocked out of the CL semi final. Top logic.

It’s no surprise that the system is such my favourite buttplug, of course, we all know it's designed to keep the most prestigeous big name clubs in the CL.

Liverpool lost pretty much every away game both last season, and the season before though, so it's not as skewed as it seems.

I'm taking about the points for last season only, though. There's no logic why the CL winner shouldn't get max points.

Someone will use it as a way to make sure that the big favorite boys get paid. Here's hoping Voldy has found a way to muscle in. Ethical behavior in European football seems utopian; at this point it is about survival.
