Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

Is this Amazon story true?

Timing seems strange. I was actually up at the stadium two days ago and it didn't have the sign up then. Photo attached.

Let's face it, even before Corona virus it was hit and miss as to whether Axl could be arsed to turn up.....And if he did how many songs he'd manage to get through anyways...Not bitter here at all in case anyone's wondering!!

yep, on the positive side though he is normally on a ventilator anyway so that won't impact his performance

I note no news still on the GnR concert going ahead or not.

Good news is, you can still buy tickets if you want....

:eek::eek::eek:

Their South American dates in March and April were rescheduled for later in the year pretty quickly. Same thing will probably happen with the European leg if/when the lockdown is extended beyond April. I had tickets for a concert in London at the end of April that's been moved to September. Evanescence next week is now TBA. A bit of a logistical nightmare fitting in all these postponed tours among already scheduled stuff for the next year. I don't think anyone wants to postpone unless they have to, so we're all left to wait. Got most of my flights and hotels refunded at least.

I don't see any live gigs before August if we're really, really lucky. In general, once curfews, etc are lifted, the venues themselves have to be "brought back to life" as they aren't designed to be mothballed.

On that note I have to wonder how our sliding pitch mechanism is being looked after right now? Again I cannot imagine it can sit for 6 months without being used a few times?

I think there will be routine maintenance on it
Doubt the ground staff have been furloughed as the grass grows all year round

It can't be used properly, because the underground car park is full of supplies for Haringey/NHS/Food. I'm sure it is fine, shiny and new.

Ehh... Why would it not work? It's electric motors and wheels on rails. That's it.
I've got electric tools that have worked just fine after 20 years of storage.

Now that we have reversed the furlough decision and there is nothing ‘bad’ to report the club is likely to see lots of positive press for the many good things we are doing.
