Jose Mourinho - SACKED

Nothing wrong with being pro Poch but you know what you are doing.

You held yourself back when mou first came in but have used this mini crisis at the Club currently (which most level headed Spurs fans know is due to the unprecedented injuries effecting the striker positions) to unleash upon this forum the true extent of your absolute total devastation at Poch going.

It reminds me very much of this guy at my school many years ago who was totally obsessed with the original Ronaldo. He loved Barca and then swapped to Inter when he moved to them. But when he went to Madrid it completely killed him and I believe he even ended up talking to a professional mental health doctor to help him through it.

You should really consider doing the same.

By the way from the time when mou came in up until Son’s injury (so Kane already out for months and Sonny’s injury the straw that broke etc etc) we were second in the league and only liverpool were ahead of us.

Poch is gone, its done, its over with, mou mou is the manager. You need to accept this, stop constantly mulling over it and move on for goodness sake man.
From the outside looking in I think you might be more in need of the professional help seeing as thfcsteff's posts bother you so much.

I usually respect your opinion as well mate, but IMO you have made it clear from when he first came here that you were not happy with the appointment and have made that clear ever since. And before going any further i like you were a big fan of Poch and would have liked to have seen him given more time.

But it is what it is and we should all move on but it seems some can not do so, i think his observations on Jose show what side of the fence ( likes/dislikes) he sits on and i do not think it is not slanted to be a fair and unbiased view.

I get that there are some fans who can not stand Jose ( and that is fair) but i had to chuckle to see it was you who posted and not another member.

Buts Stop! Hammer time and like it or not he is our manager and he has a real big job what with all the injurys etc and it seems there are some fans who can not get past their beliefs ( true or imagined) about him.
Pretty sure that all steff has done here is linked in an article from the Gaurdian. It's not thfcsteff's words. Surely our terrible form hasn't given us all so much of a siege mentality that we want to stop links to all negative articles? To be honest I'd be happy to read some positive articles about Mourinho and Spurs at the moment, it just seems to be rather difficult to find them for some reason.

Absolutely.
Would love to see it as well.

Fair enough, but as for the bolded bit of your post are you really surprised there is not any, hacks in the press usually do not care and most have a slanted view on things ( like most people do). Jose is a bit like Marmite ( hate/like) and i fully understand why some take either view.

Cos the club is in a negative spiral
But it’s not cos of a guy who has been here 4 months
Unless he has personally injured the players and poisoned the fans brains???
Clubs go through these phases and it’s how they come out of it
The reality is we’re big news again as it’s negativity that sells papers
It was arsenal not that long ago
And united too before that
No one buys papers or clicks to hear what they already know if their teams are doing well

Jose is a narcissist and egotist
So is pep
So is klopp
Difference is who is doing well at what point in time gets dug out in the press

This is the crux for me, the club was in a mess when he came here and there is still a lot of work to do to get it back where we ALL want it to be. Digging Jose out ( on what in a lot of cases is a pre-conceived opinion) for what he has done/not done ( or supposed to have done) at other clubs is not showing support. Sad to say there are still some fans who take what they read ( in the gutter press) as gospel and take it from there.

Well he has his work cut out here for sure
I’ve said it a lot lately that the greatest thing Poch did was unite the fan base as our fans bounce all over the place from their perspective
I’ve not seen that anywhere else ok the big teams other than pool right now and it shows

I agree wholeheartedly that judging him by his time at other clubs is unproductive and unhelpful.

I agree, Jose was up against a brick wall when he first got the job from fans who could not hide their dislike of him. I have said elsewhere i know lads who are clapping their hands at the way the results have gone so far and i think they are a few on here who MAY be doing the same thing.

I tend to agree except he has done what a lot of our managers over the last decade or so have failed to do, and that is really what sport is all about at the end of the day winning things.

It’s also kinda irrelevant to a point
Every club is different
Every set of circumstances are different
ive heard people say his style is done now as the game has moved on but I just saw Atlético play a game similar to what Mou has been trying to get us to do beat pool in both games
Every muting can work with the right coaching, the right players and stability...

I'm not a blinded Jose fan, but given the current state of things, was there really a need for another hatchet piece on him? I mean the author must have an agenda if he's releasing it now

The writer of that piece also seems to have ignored the massive drop in form over the year leading up to Poch' s departure as well as the common knowledge that Poch wanted out.

Baseless crap. I ignore such valueless 'journalism'.

What do we think JM is doing with this enforced break? It might provide a pre-season like approach, where he can take time to drill the team to his specific setup.

They need to put out something interesting or controversial even when there are no games.

If you can't do interesting do controversial. If in doubt mix in some click bait. Probably on some sports journalist motivational poster.

Like I said, I'm not a convert yet, there is still an awful lot wrong with us and the football has been poor.

Jose however has a lot of critics and they want him to fail. The sooner they can get their pieces in, the quicker than can turn around and tell us all how they predicted it so many months before.

I agree there are a lot of problems for us at the moment and its going take time to fix.

As for critics of Jose he has made enemy's over the years of some in the press so i do not expect much from them, its the fans who are rubbing their hands is glee who never wanted him here in the first place that i have a problem with. They seem to take more glee in seeing him struggle then doing well.

Hopefully no-one is happy about what he is having to deal with. And he is dealing with an awful lot. And he deserves time to establish what he wants to do, ditto he deserves the full support of our board and chairman. I wish he would curtail his ways, but they are his ways. I have never liked them and never will. That being said, I don't think any supporter can disagree that he deserves time and support to do what he wants to do because this has not been his situation.

Ironically, it appears as though he is on the verge of getting the biggest boost unimaginable; if the season is declared null and void, we will be back in the CL next season!
