Jose Mourinho - SACKED

This job is going to be a lot harder than Jose expected. We will struggle to even be in Europa next year, likely lose a player or two that we would rather keep and struggle to buy quality replacements.
The only ones I think he's be desperate to keep are Kane and Son and I can't see either of them going in the summer regardless of where we finish unless the money was ridiculous.
The squad definitely needs strengthening though.

That united side he inherited was full of defenders it really was
And the players that were bought under his tenure were a real mix
The “honest” united fans I know say the year they came second they started off playing really good footy and then Pogba got injured and he had no back up plan so when defensive

They were a mediocre side player wise. Well let’s hope we get our recruitment spot on in the summer.

I’ve said it so many times to people
He inherited a side with rashford arguably key as the senior striker... and creativity from mata and depay
And weirdly he still wanted more CBs
He added Mikitarian for creativity which IMO made sense but clearly he failed and Pigina of course who I’ve always thought was over rated but does have moments of brilliance

I never understood why he did not use Mata more . He spent a lot of time on the bench. I always thought they looked much better attacking side when he played.

I think this is bang on the money. Jose is hated by many many football fans, mainly because he acts like a bit of a tit, I understand that. I’d hazard a guess the vast majority of Spurs fans hate him and didn’t want him anyway, so he had an uphill battle, he’s never had that push from the fans a new manager usually brings. Now people are lining up to stick the boot in on him.

the above accurately describes 90% of my Spurs supporting mates. They are positively revelling in the misery and what a C Jose is!

Sad that they are fans who do that, makes you wonder if they are real fans if they can not get behind a manager who has probably the hardest job he has ever taken.

Most Mourinho sides are better than the sum of their parts. He rarely buys superstars. But he does buy certain characteristics

Spot on and they usually include being winners with the winning m ent ali ty, something we have lacked for a long time.

I'd heard that it goes back to him falling out with the Spanish players at Madrid. Some of the Chelsea dressing room that were close to them fell foul of him too.

That rings a bell , Think it was the Madrid keeper , Casillas. May be wrong.

Wasn't it that Madrid fans/players were calling for Mata to be signed, against Jose's wishes? Then when he ended back at Chelsea, he didn't want to give them ammunition by making Mata a success? Or did I just make that up?

Article in the widely fail today on who he has singled out before

Include Joe Cole, Pepe, Shaw, hazard, Carvalho, Martial, Pogba and Mhikitarrian

here’s the link if you can be bothered
Tanguy Ndombele isn't the first player to feel the wrath of Mourinho

Pedro Leon

Sid Lowe of The Guardian reported that "Mourinho told Leon that even if the team plane crashed without him on it and he was the only man available, he still would not play the following week."

I never wanted Jose, not because I don't like him, but because I don't think he's a good fit for us.
But I've said it before and I will say it again, the manager isn't the problem.
It goes way deeper than that.
It's almost like we are scared to succeed.

Have you not seen him throw his little tantrums/hissy fits on the pitch? He's the biggest moaner at the club!

Yes I have, and usually it's justified by stupid decisions made by others.
I would also add that unlike most of the others he accepts that he himself needs to improve and sort this out.
He is a bad loser, and that's a good thing in my opinion. Too many of ours are happy going through the motions and picking up the money.
