Then of course they should act
But acting after people are already coming doesn’t stop the issue
And to then cancel it on people without compensation means people will travel and gather too rather than lose their money
If they said something yesterday it could have nipped it in the bud in advance
No one can say they don’t know the issues now as it’s one very 5 minutes of tv and media and that includes ALL governments
I’m not going by the way as I’m in a meeting ok Tuesday with the UK Government on something else
I hope you’re not typing up the minutes.

What line of work are you in, out of interest? You said you were consulting with contractors on the new stadium build, and now with the Govt. Sounds like a nice varied, wide ranging role.

I work in commercial roles infrastructure, FM and property. I never said I was working on the stadium but I had works on stadiums. Mace who did it have their own mgt team and spurs had their own. I did work on Millenium stadium, Coventry stadium and city of Manchester. I was also asked to help with Wembley but I turned that down (not a CV stand out)
I work for myself but have done the job for 23 years mainly with very big companies
The gov role I can’t elaborate on but it’s property and infra works. The Corona thing is because I’m appointed as a senior civil servant with a team working for me that I have to report on.

Huge game for us. Win and all will be right again. Lose and it will be time to mentally step away from Spurs for a bit.

No Bergwijn =

Moura.................Lamela
................Alli...............
Winks.....NDombele....Le Celco
Vertonghen..Toby..Sanchez..Aurier

Swap Ndombele for Dier, and have him available as a sub?

This is going to be bad, but we've seen Jose do more with less (see: Chelsea 2, Liverpool 0).

-----------------Lloris------------
----Tanganga--Alder---Sanchez
Aurier--Winks----Tanguy----Sessegnon
----Lucas---Dele----Lo Celso

Who fudging knows????

Keep it tight, stay in it, hope for the margins to go our way.

People can complain about this being Mourinho and a bad approach. Right now, this squad, the injuries and other issues, I don't think there's much of a choice.

Hopefully the rotation we've seen over the last week will pay off. Need Winks and Lo Celso at their best and for at least one of our front players to have a good night. Avoid mistakes at the back. That last one looking the most unlikely at the moment. There's hope, but this will be extremely difficult.

Is there any chance whatsoever that Parrott will start, now that Bergwijn has joined Kane and Son on the injury table? I appreciate that Mourinho doesn't think he's ready, but at what point does it become a better option to prematurely play a young and talented striker than playing senior players who have consistently played poorly as a striker and who are less fresh?

He may be on the bench but doubt be will start
He will go IMO
3-4-3
And he has 3 more experienced attackers

Could be, if it happens it would be a rather big statement.

I think Mourinho is looking for something from Parrot. Be it a change in attitude or a further growth in performance. I don't think he wants to give him much game time until he sees what he wants to see, to help him develop further down the line.

If he's in i think he will be deemed ready to be in and continue to get more minutes, not just because of a lack of options.

I think that Gedson for Bergwijn is most likely, Sessegnon might be another option. I'd hope that Parrott made the bench.

-----------------------Lloris---------------------------
Aurier-Sanchez-Alderweireld-Tanganga
------------Winks---Dier---Lo Celso-----
---------------------Ndombele-----------------
------------------Moura---Dele----------------
Subs:
Gazzaniga, Vertonghen, Skipp, Lamela, Gedson, Parrott plus 1 other who isn't injured.

I can't see Ndombele getting another start after Saturday. I think that something like this is most likely

-----------------------Lloris---------------------------
Aurier-Sanchez-Alderweireld-Tanganga
------------Winks---Dier---Lo Celso-----
-----------Moura---Dele---Gedson------

I hope that he goes for Sessegnon and not Gedson though, I thought that Gedson over complicated things against Norwich and didn't play with his head up enough.

I would like to see Sess get another run out on the left flank. He scored away in Europe iirc. It seems such a shame he hasn't kicked on but has been riddled with niggly injuries since he got over his major injury.

We need a massive spark from someone - and no silly mistakes.

That seems quite likely. Might see Lamela if he's ready to start.

Really mixed on Dier. We need to be solid, we need a DM, but he's been far from form and I'm not sure he'll be the solution he would have been a couple of years back.

Lamela (if fit) and Gedson wide to give us protection in wide areas, ask Lo Celso and Winks to deliver at their best. Though if Lamela is unavailable the options really are limited.

I'd go for something like the team below. The CM pairing is, in my view, our best, and then for the front 4 its a question of who alongside Dele, Moura and Lamela (even though I dont really rate Lamela). I'd go for Gedson given he's mobile, works hard and is decent on the ball

We could see Skipp in a midfield three, I think that he's done ok this last week but Mourinho seems to be really working on Dier these last few weeks.
