Kyle Walker-Peters

52% pass accuracy is balls.
Depends what passes he was trying to make. Was he playing it up the line to relieve pressure, with a high probability it would go out of play or be intercepted? Or was he stat-padding by rolling it back to the centre back, to avoid responsibility?

A couple of semi-digs at Mourinho in that article ^^^
KWP says that if Poch was still at Spurs he may have had more chances (er.... nah)
And says that Poch and Hassenhutl would not criticise a player in the press...

Yep happily burnt his bridges with Mourinho there. Not the most ringing endorsement for Southampton either. “It wouldn’t be a bad place to be, but we’ll see what happens at the end of the season.”

But it's ok for Mourinho to constantly dig out his players publicly?
Appreciate he's the boss so-to-speak but there's an element of double standards there.

Not at all. Regardless of what you think of Mourinho, he's the manager and he can call the tune. Remember how it turned out for Danny Rose after he'd taken a side-swipe at Jose? One moment he's insisting he's going nowhere, the next he's smarting at the way he's been shown the door.

KWP has been at Tottenham since he was a kid and is still currently one of our own. For his own sake he needs to be smarter about talking to the media, else he could find himself in a similar boat on his return.

Completely different scenarios, one is the boss who can say what he wants about a player who is not doing what he asks, the other is a player who may have to come back and play for the guy he is calling out.

I'd happily keep KWP or Foyth as back-up RB next season, alongside a new signing. Sell the other and Aurier

Get Clyne on a free as back up and sell both Foyth and KWP. Sell Aurier as well and bring in Castagne or Matty Cash from Notts Forest if they miss out on promotion.

Strongly disagree about Clyne.
We should get 2 kids to fight it out, Cash and someone else, just like when we bought Naughton and Walker to fight it out

He certainly wouldn't be doing any worse for us than Aurier is. KWP never performed badly for us in fact he was MOTM in more than his fair share of games. Did ok against Barcelona too a couple of years ago. Get him back in the summer and flog Aurier to a team who don't play wing backs.
