Which one?

New Order - loved it.
Old Blood - A good prequel, some insane sections on hard levels but not quite as good as NO.
New Colossus - Not bad but not a patch on the first two imo.
Youngblood - Marmite

First two very slick shooters, on pc, some quality moments both with the story and one liners and of course the usual treasure hunts and puzzles as well.
Colossus isn't bad but I felt they made it easier somehow and while the main story is a nice continuation it is lacking in quite a few areas.

Youngblood is about the family daughters dueling it out, not as polished and some pretty cheesy pc moments in it as well - Marmite.. Maybe it is better in co-op mode with a friend.

Tried the PS4 VR headset on in my brothers at xmas. fudging amazing. I was literally blown away by it. I think I'll buy one.

Better off getting the portable Oculus id have thought?

Thinking of chopping in the ps4 vr i have as it's gathering dust

Just had a look at that - doesn't seem to be aimed at gaming.

Considered the Samsung one for a while but I already use the PS4 a lot so would love a wireless version of that (not likely, I know)

I still find most VR games quite ... they're more novelty than something you'd actually sit down and play through, in my opinion. I got the PSVR and an Oculus Rift, but rarely play games on them. Porn is great on the Oculus though, and some of the art and animation apps are amazing, if you're into that stuff. There's an excellent PS4 game that will support VR soon (Dreams) - when that arrives, I'll be living in VR for a while, I reckon. Lots of crazy stuff to explore in that.

I got a Nintendo Switch the other day. Mario Maker 2 is excellent! Liking it a lot more than I expected, and find myself Dark Souls-style grind through a lot of insane levels people have made, and enjoying it! It's crazy. Got the Smash Bros Ultimate the other day too, which seems good so far. Will try it with a few buddies tomorrow night after us hopefully having smashed Loserpool.

Only played an hour of Zelda - The Breath of the Wild, but can already tell its going to be huge. Love it already. Anyone else played it? Anything I must make sure not to miss in the early hours of the game?

I bought it for one of my sons there at Xmas but he hasn't taken to it. Barely played it actually.

Its incredible, I love it, my son loves it, we usually tag team I do the hard bits and he does the other stuff. I love how you can just do what you want to do in it. Get a house in a Village and explore or go to try and defeat the baddie.

Yeah, a lot, absolutely love it, you have a treat ahead of you.

Nice - cheers! :D I started Mario Odyssey about a week back (which is also enjoyable, but of another caliber, obviously), need to finish that before really getting down to it, but having just played it for an hour, I know I'm going to love it. :)

Anyone bought the Oculus Quest? I really like the look of it but the lack of in store demos is stalling my trigger finger.

Wow, Breath of the Wild really is fantastic. I'm probably, what, 25 hours in? And I've barely even touched on the main story line yet. Not gonna finish this for a long while. :p What an enjoyable game! Definitely one of the best games I've ever played.

Agreed it's fantastic, only annoying parts for me are the weapon system, constantly breaking. So frustrating. Also one or two moment's in the story felt rushed and weak, but that's subjective and don't want to spoil it for you.

The weapon system annoyed me at first, but I think that’s part of its genius now, you have to think about the inventory to hold, same as with the clothes, food and potions, there isn’t a catch all setup that works for everything.
