I hope it's not Santos - he was my joint favourite with Mourinho for us.
He could do something very special with the right set up.
I actually think he could make them good - they have enough in attack to be good, and he'd build a solid defence. He would also rebuild their midfield.

IF poch went there he hasn’t really increased his standing beyond what it was when we hired him and as has been pointed out he went out of his way to say he wouldn’t join rival clubs when he had no reason to do so. Also isn’t Espanyol to Barca the equivalent of West Ham to Spurs? It would take a lot of principle to turn down a massive step up due to local rivalry imo.
His next move should be at a club in a position to win their domestic league, to prove he can take the winning step and operate with a bigger budget and bigger egos.
Also would their hostile fan base not be a deterrent for a lot of managers? The only shame about today is I’m pretty sure almost anyone would improve them!

I don’t agree with that part at all. He’s way higher than he was when we plucked him from Southampton after he had 1 season there getting mid table. It was a huge gamble for us which paid off big time!
He’s dining at the top table now, he’ll be guaranteed a Champs League club and maybe even Madrid, Bayern, PSG? No way any of those would have looked at him after 1 season at Southampton getting them safe! His stock’s way higher now than 5 years ago.

I thought maybe MK meant the job he'd be walking into. Not much different to what we were.
I think Poch will be looking at a team way closer to being the finished article now. Only one that I think he'd consider that aren't would be Man U.
