Next Spurs Manager

Wow. It’s been six years and only the last ten months were grim.

Far longer than that. I said scintillating; not efficient or good or winning. Lets be honest, the last 2 years was not glorious football, it was good but not glorious. Does that mean he should be given the sack? Probably not but do you want to win stuff and play a more boring brand of football or to play lovely football and win nothing?

There is no right or wrong answer.

What does make me laugh is many used to defend Poch for not winning a trophy saying winning a cup is all about luck and the league position is much more critical. Now we are performing pathetically in the league it’s all about, yeah but he got us to a CL final. The defence of Poch because we’ve grown accustomed to his charm and persona gets a little ridiculous at times. Football is a results oriented business first and foremost....

I can’t say much about it, mostly because I don’t know that much, but I have a few friends working on the amazon show, its not being done by half, they are everywhere, seeing everything.

The thing about Jose is everyone says he's a chequebook manager. And I do think him and Levy would be a match made in hell. But...

Jose won his two CL titles at clubs where he had the least amount of money if I'm not wrong.

well inter were not a cheap team to assemble
And Porto were the most expensive side in their league too

I think everyone has their own answer to that, and they’d die on a hill for it.

That's what excites me about his possible appointment. I think it would be the (re)making of him. Someone who's been at the top will refuse to except a meteorology of being an also ran. Reminds me of.the conversation between Lamela and Rose, with Rose not thinking we were serious contenders for the title.

Thing is Jose has had a rest, he's had a little fun in the media and he wants back in.

If it is him, he will get some money, and he will negotiate that as part of his acceptance

Said it before, it's telling that the clubs where he "failed" he got multiple trophies. Add in the immediate lift to the PR around club, the naming rights will instantly go up because we will be the news every fudging day globally.

And that's a fair point. But they were competing in the CL with clubs who had cost much, much more. Mourinho, as much as I dislike the clam, has a very, very good football brain and I think it's wrong to write him off as a "chequebook manager" or "yesterday's man".

If he never wins another game he’ll still be remembered as one of the greatest of all time, he is a living, working, football legend.

That we have got to the point where we are talking about managers such as Jose is testament to the progress made over the last two decades and everyone that played a part.

Jose for me.

He’s a gamble but the whole situation is.

Get a fired up Jose and we have the squad to win stuff.

I actually think some of the squad could use a kick up the ass and some tough love.

I’m also interested to see what sort of Uber clam he can make out of Dier haha
